The fine print.
Who can vote?
Anyone. One ballot per person, and you can change any vote until polls close. Open the link in our email and your ballot is verified as a Sunaofe owner.
How does the deposit work?
You pay 10% of the retail price today. It adds 10 votes to that chair and locks your founding price. When your chair is ready, we send an invoice for your founding price. You pay it, we refund the deposit, and your chair ships.
How does founding pricing work?
Each chair has its own line. The first 20 people to reserve it get 20% off, the next 30 get 15% off, and everyone after that gets 10% off.
Do I really get the founding price on the final payment?
Yes. Your tier and price are saved on your order the moment you pay, and they’re printed on your confirmation email. Your final invoice is built from that saved price. It doesn’t change if the tier sells out later.
What if my chair doesn’t win?
We refund your full deposit automatically and email you.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel any time before your chair ships for a full refund, deposit included. After delivery, you still get our 60-day home trial.
When will it arrive?
Polls close Nov 26 and winners are announced Nov 30. Winning chairs take about 8–12 weeks to reach you, counting production, ocean freight and delivery. If it slips by more than 7 days, we email you and you can cancel for a full refund. Free shipping in the contiguous US.
Are the photos real?
The room scenes are AI renderings so you can picture each chair at home. The white-background photos are real factory samples, except The Lounge’s aluminum base, which is a rendering until new samples arrive.
