1. Brand Warranty Coverage

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use from the original date of purchase.

✅ What Is Covered

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
  • Failure of motors, control boxes, or keypads during normal operation.
  • Structural failure of desk frames, chair bases, or monitor arms.

❌ What Is Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., scratches, dents over time).
  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper assembly.
  • Modifications or alterations not authorized by Sunaofe.
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures, water, or humidity.
  • Natural variations in wood grain or texture (for desktops).
  • Shipping Damage: Damage, loss, or delays during transit are NOT covered by the Brand Warranty.
Important regarding Shipping Issues:
If your item arrives damaged or is lost in transit, this is a carrier issue. Customers who purchased AIG Shipping Protection should file a claim immediately via the AIG portal.

2. How to File a Claim

Please determine the type of issue you are facing to find the correct contact:

A. Manufacturing Defects (Brand Warranty)

If your product stops working or breaks due to quality issues, contact us directly:

  • Email: service@sunaofe.com
  • Provide: Order number, description of defect, and clear photos/videos.
  • Resolution: We will repair or replace the defective part/product with a new or refurbished unit of equal value.

Shipping Cost for Replacement:

  • Year 1: Sunaofe covers all shipping costs (US continental).
  • Years 2-5: Customer is responsible for shipping costs of replacement parts.

B. Shipping Damage & Loss (AIG Protection)

If you purchased Shipping Protection at checkout:

  • Coverage: Lost packages, theft, or damage upon arrival.
  • File Claim: Visit AIG Claim Portal
  • Timeline: Claims are typically resolved within 2 business days.

C. Extended Protection Plan (AIG)

If you purchased the optional Extended Warranty (Accidental Damage + Extended Coverage):

For added peace of mind, we offer extended coverage plans powered by AIG.

Coverage Type When it Starts What it Covers
Accidental Damage (ADH) Day 1 (Purchase Date) Drops, spills, liquid damage, and accidental breakage.
Extended Warranty After Brand Warranty Expires (Year 6+) Mechanical and electrical failures after the manufacturer's warranty ends.
Example: If you buy a 2-Year Protection Plan:
• You get 2 Years of Accidental Damage protection starting immediately.
• You get 2 Years of additional Mechanical Failure protection starting after the 5-Year Brand Warranty ends (covering Years 6 & 7).

Cancellation Policy (Extended Plan)

  • Within 60 days: 100% refund (if no claims filed).
  • After 60 days: Pro-rated refund based on remaining time, minus a small administrative fee.

THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. SUNAOFE'S LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS. Sunaofe reserves the right to determine if a defect is covered under warranty.

Note: Sunaofe’s Brand Warranty and the AIG Protection Plans are separate programs. Brand Warranty claims are handled by Sunaofe; Shipping and Extended Protection claims are handled by AIG.
