Will it actually survive a two-year nomad rotation?
Yes. The Boss Pro is rated to 300 lb, tested for 50,000 sit cycles, and the frame is aluminum-alloy, not painted steel. The vegan leather is water-resistant and wipes clean — designed for the airbnb host who never deep-cleaned the floor. The 5-year warranty follows you across state lines and international moves.
What's the difference vs. a Herman Miller or Steelcase?
Engineering parity on the parts that matter: BIFMA-equivalent load testing, multi-axis ergonomics, Class-4 hydraulic on the Executive tier. Differences: we don't sell a 12-year mechanical warranty (we sell 5), and we don't charge $1,200 for the brand. The Boss Pro is the chair you can actually own at this stage of your career — and walk away from at the end of a lease without grief.
Vegan leather — is it just plastic?
No. It's a PU composite over a high-density molded foam with a fabric backing. The cleaner finish photographs better than animal leather under ring-light. The maintenance schedule is "wipe with a damp cloth, occasionally." No conditioner. No cracking. No first-month off-gas.
I move every 4–8 weeks. What about shipping?
The Boss Pro flat-packs into a single box (24 × 22 × 14 in, 46 lb shipped). U.S. ground shipping is free; assembly is 12 minutes. We don't currently ship internationally on this product — but customers who've moved between U.S. cities tell us the box is straightforward to FedEx onward.
What if I hate it?
Send it back inside 30 days, free, no story required. We arrange the pickup. 99% of Boss Pro buyers keep theirs; the 1% who don't tell us why, which is how we keep making the next one better.
How fast does it ship?
Free U.S. ground shipping. Most orders leave our Los Angeles warehouse within 48 hours and arrive in 3–6 business days.
